First thought was right to go back to Volvo this time the v40 in the D4 variant you as you prefer

First thought was right to go back to Volvo this time the v40 in the D4 variant you as you prefer.
Appointment for a test drive and what followed was only a minor disappointment, I had the hope that the chairs in the V40 (R-Design) were similar to those of the S60, unfortunately they are just slightly smaller leaving me during the whole test drive have been working with the "search" for a fine driving position. The biggest disappointment came later from the dealer; After the test drive any attention to me as a potential buyer, "but put the key in the receptacle there," no responses to my questions, very sorry and gives a false impression of an otherwise fine brand.

On the way home we stopped at the BMW dealer and as nicely informed about the 320D. During the conversation kept my budget to the light by which I could get a 320D High Executive M-Sport trim with still some extra goodies as a HUD and a better audio kit plus some other electronic toys.

Fine, cut the Gordian knot after a trial run of two (!) Days and ordered, then could begin the long wait ..

But then ... changed during the ordering period of job ... .. stupid ... .. not so BMW car could not go to the new employer ... ... .dom ..oliedom
Ultimately the car one week delivered to my last day and could thus still enjoy a few days.

Meanwhile, again sat around the table sorted by the same dealer and with a little less budget -for no lease scheme my current car new employer; a demo 320EDE High Exec in Sport trim.
A beautifully dressed nice demo car with 20,000 km on the counter containing most of the options I had checked into my car lease.

A renewed acquaintance followed with a car that has so far been almost unbeatable on all fronts, driving, finishing, electronic devices, everything screams quality.
It is frequently reported in various MyAutoreviews and I repeat no superlatives but if it fits in the budget, go there to ride and be convinced.

I said "almost all fronts," not anything like as good; the seats .. even though his sports furniture and they are adjustable can not match them in all sorts of possibilities in the Volvo seats and now I find that I have less support in eg. lower back.
beyond which you can enjoy the voice recognition of the multimedia system (Professional) is infallible, the navigation after the Volvo navigation a relief, finally intelligence in an integrated navigation system (TomTom has found a place on Marketplace) RTTI is an extremely valuable addition I no longer want without the alternative routes are logical and traffic information is current and accurate.

However, there have been a number of choices in the multimedia system which fortunately easily remedied; standard radio stays on when the engine is off and the door opens; not fine the first time at night coming home and the music echoes through the neighborhood ... with some simple coding system is wonderful to adapt to your liking.

Is there to complain about.? Yes.

Vibrations caused in the wheel, apparently a known issue with the steering and I had suffered from after the summer tires (18 ") substrates, the dealer has this more neatly solved by balancing the whole thing (Hunt Eren)
-Falend wheelhouse , upon returning from a turn of the steering feels spongy, it seems like there depending on the steering angle is or is not ratify.
Now replaced the wheelhouse and the problems are resolved happily.
-The BMW Connect app, well, that's a disappointment and I do not worry too much ado, it is clearly still in its infancy (again, VW and Volvo has the better display)
-Continental Run flat tires, especially the 18 "wheels can be called comfort dramatic, lots of road noise, imbalance in the tires and so again vibrations throughout the car. After the winter I was ready for new rear tires and which were again out of balance, back to the garage for a round of "hunt down" after mounting some reasonable improvement brought happy but still not satisfied. Once the tires are going to turn everything off and there come under regular tires, am quite done.

Apart from these smetjes each of which are neatly resolved under warranty you can enjoy, the thing is economical, 1 to 20, without taking too much trouble and I have to admit that driving in Eco mode actually is very pleasant on long stretches. The ride comfort is unprecedented (apart from the road noise from the tires but that is solved), stationary wants quite nail the speed diesel but there is nothing to criticize what lies under the hood, wonderfully quiet!

It is a 1.8 TSI with the purchase badly 74,500 on the counter, so a relatively low position. Past two years, the car has some 4,000 kilometers driven, so when you buy all completely checked and made test drive. Everything was there, everything works properly, all the books and documentation of the previous owner were present. I've made a call to the dealer where the vehicle has been in service, again no specifics. Ultimately can bring a nice price.

August is the car to a new MOT and then I do it like a turn on. The car has only 6.000km ago had zn last turn, but that was in 2012, so it checked for security but here.

For the rest I can not report much, the car meets all expectations. I hope there is sure to drive 6 to 8 years and hope from time to time to put a revieuw.
I'd like to try to post pictures only do I get to see first smaller.

Had first turn (78 609, 08-2014)

This week, the CC received its maintenance. In terms of mileage it was the last turn not necessary yet, at 68,000, but that was in 2012 so still wanted to give a turn, coupled with a new MOT, which nevertheless went this week.
First wanted to the dealer in Geldermalsen, but could do no MOT on Saturday and was otherwise until mid-August and it was too late. So went a universal garage, excellent service, neat advance discussed everything and a price indication. Next day the car was ready, tidy crops.
In short to do the following things:
- Small turn
- New MOT
- brake pads for replacement
- 2 new tires, Dunlop 235/45/17

and the usual other small costs, a total amount of € 680, - Given the that the tires alone, around € 190 per unit cost, that's a decent price! I am very satisfied.

I also keep a consumption monitor on, here comes my final consumption lower than I expected, but that can be explained somewhat by the fact that I m too often used for short trips such as grocery shopping etc. My commute of 150km per day with an average of 1: 16.5 all top so.

A further update will probably just be late in coming, unless I have to report what exciting, but I expect not really.

Small update burglary attempt. (17-10-2014)

Also, I have not escaped the infamous punks who deem it necessary to steal navigation. This week I was the victim, even though I've been lucky that it was disturbed by my alarm so my navi left in. But a typed diamond and necessary misery thereof. Now asap but a navi-lock it, then we can hopefully prevent for. Luckily that was the only damage, the cover was carefully removed, no further damage to the car.
No further details, keep tidy mn consumption in that state and neatly around 1:14. Large pieces commuting discard hosting with the cruise controll 100 provide a practical usage of 1: 16.5 which I am extremely pleased with it!
Winter (87 560 km)

For a good two weeks of winter tires are now under the CC. I have a nice set of Toyo winter tires (235/45 R17), all-inclusive price of 430 Euros. In addition, I'm right bought a new set of wheels Interlagos 17-inch. Here are my current than summer tires and rims that are below (shown in the figure) are now the winter.

I must say that I immediately in my brand consumption, where I took previously with ease 1:16 about 75km highway I get just barely 1: 14.5. Part of it we think it! Incidentally, I notice little difference between summer and winter tires in terms of behavior or noises.

About two weeks we will test the car for the first time, we will pursue skiing to Austria. When the tire change car equals briefly checked on some points that may be of interest during that ride, found nothing unusual.
One hiccup, I get the message that fog has left behind a fault. I get this but only if I put the car in reverse gear in combination with lighting. Backlight is no mention, not reversing lights on is also no mention. Is the message there than my left rear reversing light is lit softly. Even if the car is not in reverse. And I do then my rear fog light on (where the message passes) then my rear light very brightly lit, as if it was the fog, so bright. Particularly annoying for so behind me traffic.
At first I thought the mechanic and it was a faulty light, but all the lights were fine. During the reading were no weird stuff up. Now I have the opportunity to come back for an appointment to figure out what it could be, but honestly I think what a lot of effort and money for a lamp that is rarely or never used.

No further details, the car does his work neatly and does not unexpected details or costs. So I am still very satisfied with this car! Each time it is a pleasure to be in steps and if I have the car washed I stay a while watching the beautiful lines :)
Winter sports (88 446 km)

The last review had been a while, but there were no details to report.
In early January I spent a week in Austria for skiing. For the first time this car for a really long trip, I was very curious how it would go and how the car would hold. Destination Austria was so, there would be a lot of snow, the week before I went had people been more than 10 hours in a traffic jam due to huge snowfalls so I was warned. Also my final destination is known for his pieces where snow chains are often required, so borrowed from a friend.

Since I had all the time and wanted to take it easy I left late morning, picked up my sister in Maastricht who would ride with me. Then to Ingolstadt to stay there, so thick 650 kilometers. The car has kept himself really brilliant, we really had bad weather in central Germany, massive rains that sometimes we could not drive over 50km / h, snow and very strong winds. The car did not flinch, winter tires had no trouble with the huge amount of rain Be it the snow. Along the way one made stop to dine, then good can drive to arrive on time early evening in Ingolstadt. The car scored on all points very well except on comfort. Okay, now I might have spoiled the brilliant chairs of my Volvo S60, but I got after more than four hours away anyway certainly pain in my legs and buttocks. This, unfortunately, I was a bit disappointing. But hey, how often it happens that you are more than 4 or 5 hours straight in the car? I at least not often, so no need to buy another car anyway: P

had, of course, does not use snow chains arrived much snow on the destination, quite a few times had a questionable case where I several other road users saw their chains to do but since had not even burned my traction-controllable light I did not need it. The whole holiday was excellent, cold start at -18 was no problem, nothing frozen windows as unwilling or brake cables down. Everything worked excellent. Now I must say that I had greased before departure and during the last months, the door seals properly every three weeks to keep them supple.

The return at once drove home from Austria, 1,100 kilometers thick in total. Again, at times had very bad weather, again in central Germany. Again, no details of the rest, except for the lesser comfort. I noticed, however, that as soon as I sat in the passenger seat, I had no problems. My sister had to have just ridden the same after some time, while the whole way up passenger and no problems had. Perhaps the somewhat cramped position with your legs on the pedals?

In total, around and around a trip of 2,500 kilometers in a week's time, when I can look back with a very good feeling. I still believe that I have a very special and enjoyable car bought!
The fuel I have not tracked separately from this holiday but I saw the consumption monitor that these had fallen too high. Is also logical, every day by car from the hotel to the slopes and back, 600 meter rise and fall and nice incline programs. And of course the Autobahn with regular 190/200 was hit.
All in all I am very satisfied! :)
Short update (115 425 km)

Just a short update, saw the latter was already almost a year ago, so it should be again.
In the meantime, there have been almost no details. The car has been serviced in August 2015, with no mileage 108043. It found odd things, replace only the head feathers left and right rear. Total bill came to € 758.22. For this I got a great service, brake system has been cleaned, replace rear main springs, air filled because it was almost empty and just looked at phone operation using the RNS500.

About phone service I had some questions because I got my phone but not controlled by the RNS, which I found strange. I can just hands-free calling via Bluetooth, but for example, I can not be selected via the RNS who I want to call. That should in turn manually, found inconvenient / I think. So after some research on my part and from the garage turns out that I have no phone service at my RNS of fifty thousand euros. There's quite a nice 'Phone' button, but that is only to mute the radio if you want to call ...
There are two options, one is: everything in the car in terms of cabling, etc. to fit and upgrade, which cost hundreds of euros. The other is to buy a Bluetooth touch adapter and attach it to the front-mounted holder Nokia.
So it's going to be the last option, I rarely call in the car.

Furthermore, in October through a good play by Volkswagen for € 99, - navigation updated to version 2015. The last was in 2008, so seemed like a worthwhile investment. Have a lot of arranging, everything is neatly displayed.

Meanwhile, winter tires are also there and back under the car again to shine crops in the driveway. What it remains a wonderful device to watch! :)

Hardly any wind noise, Automatic switch barely noticeable and the chassis is grandiose

OK. I drove only 700 km, but it is clear to me that the tests I've been pretty accordance read. The car is amazingly quiet. Hardly any wind noise, Automatic switch barely noticeable and the chassis is grandiose. Indeed very positive.

I come from two V70 and the choice for the A4 was primarily economic (20% addition) and a piece of car pleasure to speak. I wanted to take advantage of the last year 20% addition 25% so far I paid. Demand was Automatic, Diesel, Station, little power. All BMW 3 and A4 B9 remained. Both very nice cars finally chose this because I find it more beautiful.

I ordered the utra version with 106 g of CO2. However, I was informed that the implementation of these bands would come in handy in 2016. If I agreed would not necessarily cost a sports suspension placed these is 2 cm and less than 109 gCO2 seems to have enough for 20%. Well slackening seemingly.

I also have the apple carplay option. Navi and this system works very quickly. (what a difference with the V70, but well that system is obviously years old) is still some getting used to. Siri is quite willing but, I have many German contacts that are seemingly impossible to find whether my statement is lousy :-)

Have to say that the keypad of the v70 it was convenient. I know many song out of my head and that you type faster than you visited.

I see consumption decline. not the default values that will probably never be reached. is now an average of 6 l / 100km, 5.1 highway. But it will still be better. Have driven only 700 km.
Many AdBlue? (3,300 km)

As 3000 km driven Notification: Please allow at least 5,7L AdBlue. I was rather surprised. So called in first ever book, there's a 12l tank for this stuff (actually Urea, say strong urine :-) dissolved in water). and consumption would be 1-2.5% of the diesel consumed. The key question now is to deliver Audi forgot to fill the tank or the updated software now? According to Audi, I would about 10,000 km should be able to drive a tank. An acquaintance told me that is attached to truck 5% of diesel.

The AdBlue prices vary enormously. At Shell, I found 1,5l cans with special fill funnel VOO 10.95. At Esso, with rickety filling spout 10l for 17.95. The latter purchased. and carefully filled. Since I did not know how much use this carefully done. Was so obviously wrong that ran on the new paint. Immediately washed away with water. But the whole 10l therefore proceeded in!

Well I hope that Audi has forgotten to fill the tank, because if its really that high consumption is a serious cost. especially with the shell vials.

I keep an eye on it.

Furthermore creaks something in the interior, before Monday here at the dealership along. It's not very much, but because the car is so quiet thing is fast. Guess I would not have heard it in the Volvo. But it should not, of course.

Car drives really exquisite. We have been to them and through London, a truly delightful trip car.
Cracking remedied but come back (6,600 km)

It was still kraakje become creaky. After a long search, it appears to go into cover material from the A-pillar, at the transition to the headliner. Neatly solved and free A4 car loan note (previous edition, a significant difference with the new generation by the way.)
It is neatly solved, but now I got another message to PON come, apparently wants it otherwise resolved back. Little strange. So Monday back again.
adblue update / Audi Sound System / Apple carplay (12,000 km)

Well it so that the first time was not filled the tank. Now at 12,000 km had to be refilled 10l again so 9000 km on 10l (and about 1900 km ~ 2l) Can we live with.
Consumption is about 5.4 l / 100km, creaks definitively away happy.
Audi Sound System: Leave out "demolition" I saw the speaker, well well, if it is 15 - is worth a lot. and there 400, - for daring to ask. Disgraceful actually. Immediately but properly addressed. Is now a high-end set, put it by the friendly people of Schut Car Systems. Is even replace the entire wiring. Such a set can be completely adjusted to your liking, it sounds completely crazy now!
Apple Carplay: works only so-so. often the iPhone is not recognized, you must return to connection manager or the USB in and out plugs. Today talks navigates through while you're calling, sometimes does not want to begin the iTunes player when the radio schwitch. No. Not what I had expected.
Drive: still crazy. Last piece of Germany made 235 seen and string taut. as in "normal" speed 170-180 (heh in Germany!) very quiet and totally tight on the road. If speedometer would be in you would think you 120 runs or so. Very happy over all.
made for the Autobahn (22,000 km)

Just back from Italy. First really long journey (1150 km, 2x) Full packed. And what a fine car trip. I had actually expected some little pain, but nothing thereof.
And I've said it before, the rest in this car is really so relaxing. I used (= the V70) always got comments from ega and kids that I was driving too fast, they sat at the same speeds (170-180) reading a notebook time. With this car you really do not notice whether you drive 130 or 180. That is very very nice. Then the journalists do have commented that the control is insensitive, it Bends BMW 3 is really better, what the F * ck. I drive 180 kmh at 2200 rpm and hardly any wind noise. That's nice!

The sports chassis feels good and he sends very straight and tight

Upon seeing the model immediately sold. What a clean look, beautiful lines, beautiful 17-inch wheels fabrieksaf. The interior is fine (sports seats, steering wheel, AUX connection, heated seats). Being a car with low mileage concerns, everything is still very neat. The sports chassis feels good and he sends very straight and tight. In conjunction with sports seats runs this exquisite. The 1.6 engine is reliable and relatively inexpensive to maintain. In addition, it is a motor that pulls fine for a car of about 1000 kg. Want this model but even sportier, go for the FR version. This model features a different steering wheel and gear cover (all equipped with red stitching). In addition, a slightly different looking front bumper and a slightly different rear bumper with parking sensors. In addition, the grille is slightly different, which feature honeycomb pattern. Subtle differences but certainly better in my eyes! Hence I grille, steering wheel and bumper have also made my model. I also wrapped the black dap and wheels painted black. The car is therefore entirely black and white style.

Because it concerns a small car gives it nevertheless sometimes a bit the idea of a shopping car. Though this model (sports coupe) really clearly much better than the "Stylance" variant and the 5 door Ibiza's. He also has the problem that the engine to do some stutters when starting. After being done in new spark plugs to have it improved a lot but never really gone away completely.

The car is ideal for my use. As a student, I have no money for a heavy car with turbo-like (load / maintenance etc.). I am so often alone in bigger I do not so much need. I drive little and especially smaller pieces but he is ideal for .. However when I'm out with friends is it really a small car. Up front you can sit fine (ie with its 2-s) but behind has to be really small and if there are two boys from each 1.90 / 1.95 in need, this is no fun for them.

All in all: go for much horsepower and lots of space then you should leave this course are, but you go for a spirited, sporty car with relatively low road tax and maintenance, this is a godsend. In addition, it is a model that you see relatively little, so you have something special right away. The facelift models are, in my opinion, very successful (other bumper, LED headlights, LED taillights), but these are not fitted with 1.6 engines but especially with the 1.2 / 1.4 TSI engines. They are of course also more expensive.

Since this weekend the owner of an E61 530D Touring LCI High Executive in black metallic.

Past 10 years, always drove an old Mercedes-Benz combi (300TD combi machine W124), indestructible, 450.000km and still going strong, but it had to be replaced.

Reasons for the move:
- the newer Mercedes type W211 I do not think so beautiful and above all a class heavier and therefore more expensive in ERA (500 eur / quarter), and that was to fool me. BMW does more with aluminum making them lighter and also apply 50/50 weight distribution
- I ride for my work a lot in Germany and would therefore nice to drive by. Especially 80-130km accelerate failed or lasted very long with the Benz
- Safety, airbags
- I wanted to ever drive a newer car (no rust)
- I E61 Touring model always found very attractive

short went looking for an E61 touring with 530D engine, automatic, sunroof, sport or comfort seats and Prof Navi and stop / start button.

After several months I managed to find even a fine LCI / facelift model. Which has the newer engine 235PK new machine (poker), window winder logical in the door, Xenon / LED lights, bluetooth connection, something more economical in consumption (on paper!).

Options:
- High Executive
- Active Steering
Here you get used quickly, not even one full rotation of the wheel and you're at the end, handy for street time
- Light package
interior and under the mirrors, nice! Very handy if you parked at a dark place state
- Head up display
Beautiful, you're more conscious of driving displays speed, navigation and cruise control
- Panorama roof
I Wilde necessarily as an option despite horror stories of leakage etc. Wonderful combination and lap of a roof that can be opened. Everything works happy. Even the tilt function is tasty, car remains close but get fresh air. If the strong wind can make the sky closed and you have a small strip which still comes fresh air. What an opportunity.
- Black sky, changing off nicely
- Sports Seats / Dakota leather
That's good shift semi automatic so it still himself forward / backward. Does not bother me, I always have to do. During a test drive with a version with comfort seats I was shocked even the car after boarding / insert key, the steering wheel and the seat is set.
The head seems to me a bit strange, can not be addressed to you in comparison with the old Benz.
- Bamboo black wood interior trim
Seemed like the photo of the dealer not fine, really it's pretty dark and neatly finished with high-gloss lacquer.
- Cup holders
Convenient for cappuccino after refueling
- Hifi System
Not the standard stereo but the hi-fi system. Gives a fairly good sound, the trick is to put full bass and treble open. I prefer original car so keep install separate baswoofer unless this can easily. Bass is not very heavy, but adequate / balanced.
- Navigation Professional
in combination with the iDrive unnecessary equally habituation but then it is self-explanatory. Navigation works properly but DVD / info is dated, and with Google Maps, you get a little more information about traffic jams etc. Do not know yet whether an update to the effort / money's worth. Large screen looks nice anyway.
- No M package
Each to his own taste, of course, but I did not necessarily M package which spoilers round / rear diffuser. Therefore, was a long quest for the most 530D / 535d have an M package. I just liked the lip / spoiler below the rear bumper. And without M package is even more of a wolf in sheep's clothing. A sports car wrapped in a station wagon ;-)

First impressions
To purchase already benefited from this section to learn all of the E60 / E61. I'll be here the next time go to track my findings and maintenance.

It takes some getting used to be a BMW rider from Mercedes. BMW also has another image.
The first 1000km to and through Germany were promising. Wait a beautiful car and what torque. One gas and drive without difficulty an illegal speed (EN ...)
140km / h and cruising speed is difficult, relaxed and very quiet in the car. And pushed in the back of the mega couple is being addictive.

Consumption:
- When driving at 140kmh cruise control, ie enter 1 to 14, fine for such a heavy engine.
- In the city and little by gases much less this quickly towards 1 at 12.
- I wonder if there really have much difference in Pre LCI and LCI diesel consumption. 12.99 versus 14.71 is said in the books and here on week car database.

The car was given when purchasing a new MOT, in turn, new handlebar, 4 new tires, new brake pads around so hopefully first 30.000km no major maintenance costs.
Let's see if the BMW diesels are as reliable as those from Mercedes.

Comfort and performance are very good, reliability and user charges on meeting because now I can not estimate yet. It will all be fixed more expensive than the old Benz but I factored.
Impression after the first 10.000km (228.000 km)

10.000km more
particularly by working in no time driving around 10.000km with the 530D.
Well get used to the car. My plan is to drive at least 100.000km it.
In comparison to mn old Mercedes is a great complete change. Where to start?

Interior
The sports seats are great and offer good support so you can drive long without stopping.
In the Benz I sat on the chairs, here you sit in it. Someone said a car you step into a BMW pull up. Is pretty.
Interior is nice and quiet, light is beautiful in the evening / night, also by additional light package. Beautiful car.
Unfortunately, the left pad is loose so it is fixed with screws put, this, I would still adjusting the new original rings.

Exterior
Like the E61 really worked very well, always found a nice car. Drive for 10 years station wagons, Combi to Benz, now touring. Remains intact, such open separate window of the rear door. Use it too much because I'm not used yet that this is done. When I opened it the first time I saw that unfortunately sits on both sides under the rubber beginning rust. Even though I was hoping to ride a rust free car. Let make Mss once.

After two weeks there was someone geschampd against it while I was not home. 3 very small dents are on the left rear door. This can hopefully dent removal without syringes are removed. However, huge bales if you just got a new car ....

Panorama roof works great, especially now in the summer, good open-top driving. Button, press the key if you do lock it is also great, everything closes automatically, windows and roof.

Motor and drive
motor with 500Nm torque and 235pk course a world of difference to the Benz doubling the power. Benz was 3 liter diesel with only 113pk / 192Nm short, not fast but oh so reliable.

Trips to Frankfurt, with hills / inclines, no problem for the BMW, he flies up the mountain, on cruise control he remains stable at 130-140kmh and draws well. Fine idea that you always have a lot of power, typically driving 140kmh on cruise control. If there turns up a fast guy, I also give some gas with no trouble (with the Benz always exciting and awkward moment for lack of power ...)

Consumption after 10.000km average 7.7l / 100km so first at 13. During the highway driving I get one 14 (7.1km / 100km at 140kmh) Very good for a BMW with so much power. Looks like he rides between 160-180kmh the best.
But also by pulling equally switches ie only at 160 and at 200, do not say normal! (er, compared mn old Benz)

Car sends very tight, also by active steering easily in the city and / unpark. No comparison to the more baggy of the Benz. Understand very well that once you have ridden you will not easily go back a BMW. Seems sometimes that I no longer go back ;-)

For two weeks, a ticking sound at idle, comes from the front. With a little gas is the way so it looks like something dragging. Soon let make.

Overall, very happy with the car and I drive more tasty.
Ready for Winter (233,000 km)

After only a few weeks to have the vehicle released, I heard a tap on the motor / engine compartment so to speak.
Since I had taken six months warranty gone back there in the purchase to the garage where I had bought it.
Yesterday, the crankshaft was replaced under warranty and the car is quiet again and the tick is gone. Fortunately.
In addition, immediately below it's put winter tires. On the Internet, bought a set of 138 BMW wheels, the best wheel for this car I think.

The car is still fantastic. Driving fast when I feel like it, but usually constant 140kmh in Germany is a delight. Still find the finish of the car is very beautiful and enjoy it. On autumn days with sun tasty the sunroof open. Mn old Benz I'm not forgotten. The BMW is still a car this time, though he's already 7 years old.

We go happily through the winter! Heated brace yourself!

Now only once the machine rinse and those pesky 4 small (3mm) dents from a shopping cart show remove (restyle?) Does anyone know a good address this near Amsterdam?
New MOT and Battery (241.000 km)

Car again received new MOT and have also replaced batteries. Original BMW battery still sat in the factory and gave only 60% power.

Earlier also stopped this year at a BMW 5 Series event and at last let the three small dents / seeds dent removal, very happy.

Tiptop car is back and ready for many / long rides (by Germany).

Unfortunately, only off the water hose from the rear window washer jumped so do I need more time to the dealer. Fortunately (yet) a further line break in the rear, the rest all works yet. Well bales of course ...
Cable break Tailgate / Panoramic roof leaks (247,000 km)

Cable break tailgate / Panoramic roof leaks
I thought with LCI models lesser burden of having nothing but the truth.
What was found? 2 cm of water in the tank which is located on the battery. That wiped off but the right indicator remained solid. Ai. Then driving at 140kmh in Germany suddenly see all the counters and software reset icon. Ai, a shock.
Dealer advised the BMW specialist, BMW specialist advised a male that makes cable breaks for less, but again was on vacation, and I was also on vacation ... with the BMW. Eventually, after a lot of different messages on the CCC decided to make the BMW dealer. Expensive but replaced everything with original cables (slightly longer) and BMW dealer invoice.
Panoramic roof drainage revealed the strainers though not more so quite strange that there was still water toward battery. (I trust, therefore, not quite ... and will certainly continue to monitor after a car wash)

- Windshield rear new hose - is working again
- Oil sensor (oil mode) so turned out just yet well
- New BMW logo on the hood, another was not pretty more
- BMW Kentekenplaathouder let assemble

oil & filter
I had to go 4.500km but there was anyway, but also new oil and filter.
Fuel filter and air filter replacement also proved not to be replaced when purchasing turn last year.

A spicy bill, but made everything again. A happy driver. Tomorrow on holiday and nice make mileage.

Some action is still open to let the automatic transmission coils at ZF.
Door Handle - Sensor - Exhaust Pipes - everything ok again (252.000 km)

New door handle
During the trips I took particular note laptop bag from the passenger seat and then took the shoulder strap with the door handle, broken.
So ordered in recent weeks as a species Dukes of Hazzard each stepped into my car. (window open, grab handle outside, then window shut again) Jieeeeeehaaa!
Now again made 130 euros including installation.

Diesel air while driving - Sensor replacement
After replacing the fuel filter, I had occasionally suffered from a diesel air in the car.
After verification it was found that a sensor completely missed that automatically shuts the heater valve at odors. Again let reassembly
50EUR

Drainage Pipes panorama
After a high amount mn had replaced harnesses behind, I had yet to heavy rainfall suffer from water to the battery in the tray above it.
Again urged BMW to leave this checked because they were said to have removed the sieves.
Just turned out that she had not been removed and is still just performed. Hehe, now I'll just let him back out in the rain without worry to worry.
0 Euro - leniency
Return ticket Spain (262,000 km)

Just returned from a return Spain - near Valencia.
That's exactly what such a car like this is made. Long car rides. Together with his wife and child long cruising on highways.
Given also that the car has a gyro sensor. If you drive up the mountain with the machine, he stays longer in high gear.

First day came to Southern France. At hotel showed me the panorama still slide / vent had been standing position. By pressing a button he stuttered, but remained open. Delicious than the first day vacation .... But again try after 10 minutes and then closed the roof just good.
Then roof disused, turned again just ok.

Sadly, on New Year's Eve was put a scratch with a key of some 1.50 meters, both front and rear left. Grrr. Returns this week.
Update 22.01: Made - 500 eur

BackTrack went smoothly on the cruise control 140kmh.
At 4.500km - an average of 1 in 14.0. Fine!

When fueling is then radius: 1160km ;-)
rinsing machine (263.000 km)

This afternoon at ZF Delfgauw Rinse the automatic transmission, new filter with new oil. Never before had been replaced but bin was still in order. Immediately also features new oil differential. Good service!
Mn to-do list is now almost empty car runs great. Now hopefully 100.000 carefree kilometers away with it.
Costs for maintenance / repair / loss (265,000 km)

If you divide falls into three categories so bad ....
New MOT and bellows (271,000 km)

Just returned from the annual MOT.

Did the BMW dealership to do this time because wanted them good too went to look at the panodramadak. Universal garage can not really. They have smeared him as tilting as ever has to cost you a new roof from 3800 euros, so that we do not.

After several years of experience with LPG I wanted a diesel: more power and less frequently at the pump

I have two and a half months ago to replace the lease Auris these self bought Cactus.
It is a 1.2 Turbo with manual transmission. The color is deep purple, interior also has purple accents, a reasonably unique color that you do not see much. Certainly in combination with the black 17-inch wheels a special combination. The car also feature additional trim package, navigation, ACC, car kit, various audio options, etc.

Cactus drives perfect, I do not miss the dispenser of the Auris. The car is smooth and is well on the road despite the smooth and comfortable suspension. The latter is a breath of fresh air among all the "sporty" and "tight" sprung cars. The engine is no powerhouse, but strong enough. Mountains, catch up with full load is not a problem, provided you choose the right gear.
The noise inside is limited, like the three-cylinder roll in by pulling firmly.

The interior is as known practical and uniquely designed with a clever combination between basic and premium materials.
Good, wide seats are very tasty.

The use of the central control panel quickly get used.

The only cons I can think of in the interior are the lack of a quick operation for the electric windows and uitklapraampjes behind, not that it's annoying that they can unfold only (which is none the less pleasant to avoid annoying rattling), but you However, expect to see something (cyclists, walkers) through the rear window as you when turning or overtaking looking over your shoulder, this is the chuck from the rear, thus you need to be extra vigilant.

The interior is nice and spacious by forgotten someone a rag dashboard, even the luggage is fine. Extra storage space I have a Thule dakzak what it looks tough on the Cactus.

The catalyst is replaced during a recall action, neatly handled by dealer.

For the rest I will doubtless many pleasant kilometers ahead!

Update: 21500 km. Still very happy and satisfied with the cactus.
Remarkably, some washes refuse Cactus. Brushes stuck on the roof rails. I now have a car wash found near where he just pass through it so I think it's eea an urban legend.
25,500 km

The last time the car was something disagreeable, Citroen dealership let check shows a known issue. Garage has solved this problem through software updates and new engine mount so the Cactus when starting and traffic jams became a lot smoother, naturally under warranty.
Update software engine and engine mount (30,000 km)

the engine has already had an engine software update and also replaced an engine mount. The result may be, it bokkige character is gone, the car has become a lot smoother. This is a known update carried out by the dealer under warranty.

After several years of experience with LPG I wanted a diesel: more power and less frequently at the pump. With approximately 40,000 km per year pays a diesel manage. We were looking for a car with a higher entry and towbar. Looked at a Ford C-MAX, VW Touran and Golf Plus. After a test drive in the Plus I was immediately sold. Car had just driven 165 000 km and was only equipped with a turn. Maintenance is always carried out by the VW dealer. The car is equipped with many options (Sportline package) and include climate control, sports seats, rain sensor, parking sensors.
Meanwhile, nearly a year in possession of this VW Golf Plus 1.9 TDI with 105 hp from 2005 and like it so far fine. Driving a diesel is getting used to but after a week you do not know better. The 1.9 TDI with 105 hp is enough for everyday use, but no traffic light sprinter insert on the highway is fine. Even with a lot of luggage and bicycles on the tow there is sufficient power available. Consumption is between 5,8 and 6,1L per 100km.
It is a question of finding the correct position but once you found is really comfortable. The seats provide plenty of support. The rear passengers have no complaints, lots of legroom and headroom. This version also has many pockets, handy for charging your phone / navigation etc. The finishing level is very high, everything is in the right place. The audio sound was in my opinion a little better but not bad. The air conditioner cools well but it is audible, sometimes it's just an old-fashioned coffee. According to the dealer, this is more common but it can not hurt.

Maintenance / problems:
Car trembled in both steering and seat at 120km / h. After buying the car tires (Hifly) 2x make balancing, unfortunately without result. Alignment was not necessary. Eventually's turn one wheel which most vibrations are resolved, costs 55 euros. When winter tires (Goodyear) had no problems. Soon leave again test a 3d balancer. Car consumes about 1L oil at 10,000 km (longlife oil 15 euros per bottle) but that is apparently normal for these engines. At about 195 dkm overhaul + apk be carried out, cost around 250 euros.

Last month, say goodbye to my beautiful A6 hit totallos so look for new luxury train station

Last month, say goodbye to my beautiful A6 hit totallos so look for new luxury train station, but switch to petrol because of less-km drive because I have some more of the engine will go to work. Looked for A6, but petrol versions in my price range (max E 2500, -.) Were only in old versions with a V6 2.4 petrol or larger engines. The type Passat from 2001 was also considered, but then you have a very stripped version with lots of kilometers on the clock. Therefore, my eyes widened some, put pride aside and go look for Mondeo. Boring enough, some civil Ford family car, but the first small event and the fact that I want to stay windsurfing, surely wanted a station for security. E 2300, - found a Mondeo Ghia 2001 in deluxe version. Automatic, 145 hp, leather upholstery, xenon, electric seat adjustment, heated windscreen, navigation, etc. hitch km on the counter, I do not mind. My A6 Diesel was underdone and had tapped 300K, but who also had no problems. Many km with a gasoline car with automatic transmission do I find so exciting, but thanks to good reviews and a price that you do not bump into you fall anyway done. Most luxury, safety, and space for little money.

Just 200 km driven, and everything has to get used a bit, think of seat adjustment, temperature inside the car, the radio navigate and time again since a petrol car and machine. Shame I can not adjust the armrest. Chair I like to sit very high, but I can only tilt the seat, not decrease. He's so big I do not care, that was my A6 well and this Mondeo parking sensors and towbar.

First impression of the handling is good. The car is very stable in turns and sends sharp. It seems a little pull to the right on the straight highway, leaving me holding the wheel still a little crooked, I'm watching. No strange noises and even at 120 km / h you hear little ambient noise. Compared to the 1.9 diesel in the A6, this car really is an oasis of silence. Brakes grab sharply. Today immediately tanked, but that's no fun with these gasoline prices. I'm looking forward to the long term usage. Will particularly km highway are around Amsterdam so km of between 80 and 120, but also a lot of traffic jams in the afternoon at the Coen tunnel. All the more reason more often on Tuesdays and Thursdays to address the engine.

I will try again on a regular basis to keep up with a review. In May, he must MOT at my trusted car repair, I'll check him completely. About that than later.

See my other review of the A6 Avant 1.9 TDI 140 hp.
Update (232,000 km)

Again write an update. The car consumes generally 1L 10 km to commute around Amsterdam including some traffic jams. At longer motorway journeys to the Netherlands where I keep myself reasonably to the max. Speed, the car 1L rescues 11 km.

Problems
I have had a problem in the spring with the heater, this heated no more after day he just only more could warm a lot. Finally resolved in my car fixed. They were still more than two hours doing.
In a rainy period in the winter there was always water on the floor of the vehicle in the passenger seat. If it was freezing at night, then froze it to the inside of the windshield. It seeped from under the front passenger door, so I guess that goes in through the window rubbers, because it contains large gaps. Designed to look at it, but after another rainy period this spring, the problem has not occurred. Anyone have an idea how that can arise?

Positive experiences
Last winter I fully enjoy the heated seats and heated windscreen. Truly a luxurious feeling when you early in the morning need not scratch the windshield, but as you get in.
Car always starts.
What a space!
Super handling, sends sharp through the turns.
Xenon lighting works well and gives good visibility.

I go more km's away and expect to have about 15K - to make 20K per year. Because it is a reliable and well-buy car, I consider to hold them just a few years

It works with not to change the star rating. Now I would still give an extra star for comfort and reliability to 'good'. Running late so I stand, this has to do with consumption that can easily get under 1:10 if you just kicks him on his tail.
Update 240.000 (240.000 km)

At 234,000 km rear shock absorbers had to be replaced. From one day to another squeaked and creaked car from behind at every turn and every threshold. Shortcoming found quickly, because the dampers always be replaced by two, I was totally right away € 700, - further. One week later, a new battery a € 180, - and you're going to leave you wondering if the car it was still worth it, but yes, you sometimes still have a quick solution.

Now already 3 months and 6,000 km and driving ease. Because we have another car taken away, this is now the only one we use. Really, he drives delicious but by the consumption of 1:10 gasoline if you drive calmly, I'm around me watching for diesel station wagons. A few nice BMW 320d models seen in 2003-2004. Many km's I find no problem, but I can this Mondeo to any interested password?
Still runs fine by (255.000 km)

The car still runs fine after 254,000 km. Automatic gearbox seems to be more flexible again. He scoured if everything is cold and you had to wait at a traffic light. After a few kilometers, that was not the case. Now I have the habit of having a cold car just the first red light just to put the gearbox in neutral. Now I see nothing that sheds.
Cover made from the baggage hold shoots occasionally back. As if the buttons have become some lamb so the cover is no longer good clip. Strange after 13 years as a family car serves to have? Is not too bad I guess.
Original xenon still doing fine. Electric windows do it all. Co-drivers seat heating is stopped with no knowledge of electronics, so I let it so.
Heating of the car is a bit difficult to adjust. Sometimes I have to put him in the cold December mornings at 26C and it is barely warm. Other times it suddenly becomes very hot and I must quickly put everything on 22C to step out not sweaty. 2 years ago the heating ever been part and renewed, now this. Remains strange.

Remember to buy a newer version. Eg same 2.0 petrol station in 2006. Because it has often lots of options, it is still the old model, so relatively reasonably priced. Runs like my car with quiet DRIVING 1: 10.5, so do not skimp. Someone experience with LPG G3 system in a Mondeo? Want ie go some efficient driving, but Dieseling I drive short km per year.
Still going strong (271,000 km)

Done an apk for summer and major maintenance. Oil for engine and gearbox, new front tires, wheel bearing left and welded something at the outlet. Overall, still cost more than the current value of the car. I did not expect, but just before the holidays I wanted to like the car was well serviced. I would, after all, with family and 2 small kids with a caravan traveling to Italy.

Car has done well throughout the holiday. However, he had a lot of trouble taming the hills in Germany on the highway. The machine turns itself back on the cruise, but after two gears back you drive 50 kmh on the mountain with many tourwn and a whirlpool in the tank. That's no fun, but you come up naturally and then it turns out you're not the only Dutchman slowly creeping up the mountain. Incidentally, the car remains very stable mey a caravan.
Sold (281,000 km)

Last week bought a newer model Mondeo 2007. 2.0 again with gasoline, but now with the manual transmission for a consumption. The reason was that a MOT's coming and still always something needs to be done, though there was now only a small turn in the planning. Because we are this summer with the kids go on holiday to Italy, I wanted a vehicle that is younger with less km and more comfort. Moreover, after 4 years you'd like something different and newer. Sold for € 450, - an individual. For someone who finds it interesting: at wijkopenautos.nl they offered half.

There was a small event so the VW Polo was considered too small and we were looking for another car

There was a small event so the VW Polo was considered too small and we were looking for another car. Women absolutely no interest in cars, I myself though. Driving for work regularly with all types of cars so I can make all large 'test drives' in various cars. Many cars including as a little each German mark passed. I have something against French cars, can do little but I do not buy a car soon myself coming from there.
The reason for this will mostly sit in my head, though I often find very soft, for example, lemon chairs.
Ford also pleases me always very good, only on the inside with all those buttons ......

In the end I could not resist to take a test drive in a 320iA e46. And it's true what they say: When will you make it hard not to buy him a test drive in a BMW.
Options which are opzaten for me were sufficient:
* leather sports seats
* large navigation
* automatic
* Heated seats
* Automatic climate control
* Parking Sensors
Furthermore some extra options

Eventually after two different cars to have seen, we went for the BMW 320iA touring lifestyle executive.
Delicious 6 in-line engine which is spacious enough and knocked everything.
What pleases me most is that the BMW interior comes across as calm. Not too many buttons, and yet everything logical and quickly accessible.

The car has me at the time I had let him stand one time, broken fuel pump was the reason.
In addition, the car had for me various ailments standard for this type.
Such as, inter alia, that the vacuum pump was clogged.
Repair costs beyond regular maintenance to and been close to 1200 euros in 70.000km.

Regular maintenance, I think better than expected in this car. There will be quite a lot of oil in the engine, so an oil change may turn out proportionally higher.
Various sensors such as airbag, oil and parking sensor had to be replaced. Especially the sensor for oil was annoying to replace, given its location.
Oil he desire it, about 1 liter of 3000km.
The machine turns even more perfect, not to feel little shock. However, he regularly turns back too late in my opinion. I think he's nicer ride in the S mode, but it also consumes slightly more.
Consumption I found otherwise fine.
On average I 1: 10.8 ridden.
Within Because this was +/- 1: 8
Freeway at 100km / h gives it to 1:14.
I find this acceptable numbers considering the age and type of engine.

Although you always hear, "BMW is still expensive to maintain and purchase 'I have this so do not really experienced.
Also I noticed that the car still has quite neatly kept its value which is also an advantage.
If I will calculate it simple and soon I'll come out to about 370 per month, with 15000km per year. Something to keep in mind so.

Now the little bit older now we do not need a station (yes is always helpful but not necessary), so we went looking for a smaller car.
Of this I will keep a review from the beginning including usage. This keeps the little cleaner and more topical.

On King's work but a good start calculating what it would bring if I did not switch in early 2017 to a younger car but now, given the holiday that comes and a windfall from the blue envelope. Then switched to a diesel turns out even better than I expected. A (young) diesel I look at the cost of motor vehicle tax, insurance and fuel costs than lose it on the first two points, but makes a annual mileage of 40,000 kilometers over the well on the last part. So much so that our family every month will save about 50 to 75 euros per month. Nice!
++++++
What should it be?
++++++
In 3.5 years, 130,000 kilometers driven in a Hyundai Getz in 2004. A total almost 211,000 kilometers on the clock. That 1300 is an indestructible block and the Getz has never disappointed me. Just in the spring and a beurtje and nothing else in the autumn. Sense that you are going to look at this brand. Corsa or Punto diesel could also have done but can never match the proverbial reliability of Hyundai.
+++++++
Long story short:
In Breda in the cars center of Indumij (including Renault dealership) an i20 1.1 Crdi of September 2012 have been found with 93 423 kilometers on the clock. The car is seen on April 30 after we were first treated to a cup of coffee. Trade Price was fine, got the opportunity to sell the car also decide where a discount in return. Car and watched a few points that had seen better.
++++++++
The car was for me and my cousin (partner in crime!) Taken outside and we could send about half an hour. Because the cars are mainly used on the highway, immediately sought a piece of highway. What stands out?

1. Everything works much better and smoother than the somewhat rudimentary finished Hyundai Getz. It saves than 8.5 years in age but what has made leaps Hyundai finish.
2. Send chair and let adjust themselves very much. It is an i-Vision version which is the second most luxurious version. The steering wheel is not only adjustable in height, but also axially (in depth). Because of this, I finally got a car that's perfect for me. You will find yourself more relaxed behind the wheel.
3. Comfort: Genuine Hyundai: not very sharp or so but it is well on the road and the springs and dampens quite smoothly. The seats provide excellent lateral support. The overall comfort is really two classes better than the Getz.
4. Engine: Idling from the outside you can hear the car hardly walk. In the parking lot was also an old VW Golf diesel idling, the sound of the i20 fell by almost negligible in comparison. It is a three-cylinder. Stationary feel something but not bothersome. First gear is relatively short, the 3 cylinder sound or obvious. What is important to me that the engine runs very nicely at highway speed. The car is at highway speed pretty quiet, 130 mph on cruise control will not cause fatigue. Does the car have enough power? For me though, no world performance expected but it is no less than the Renault Clio 1.5 Dci (70hp, 160Nm) and the Fabia Sdi (64pk, 126Nm) which I have already driven leaser. The i20 has 75hp and 180nm torque.

Purchased?
Yes. Because I can pay the car pass entirely from its own resources late May I put the date of delivery on Saturday 28 May. The car will receive a 88 point check, a cleaning, maintenance and half a tank of fuel it.
++++++++
So far this preview. The challenge I have with this car aanga is a use of five years or, if earlier reached: 300,000 kilometers. Of course I will adjust this review and supplement if the car is delivered and I can tell you more about for example the small diesel block. The reason I created this review that this is the only review of the i20 diesel on the site. However, there can be found a few reviews of the Kia Rio with these downsize diesel.
The reviews that I care about the comfort, performance, reliability and running costs are an estimate based on the i20 and the experience of the Hyundai Getz.

After a long time have driven the C1 of my mother, it was time again to buy a car

After a long time have driven the C1 of my mother, it was time again to buy a car. This I had not done before because I did not trust the reliability of older cars. But I had no choice my mother wanted to return her car, and I did not come without a car. Actually, it was the perfect situation to get over my fear and buy an old car. As a true Citrofiel the brand was already decided. What I was looking for was a ZX Break, why? because I think this is a great model. But I only saw dilapidated copies on the internet, so when I'm still just going to look at the 3 and 5-door and when I got it from. On a Saturday morning I drove to Horn with my brother to see him. According to the seller it was a great good car, unfortunately there were no booklet and history was unknown. But according to him, we did not make our pressure, he was an old couple from Constantly that the car had been kept neat and in addition, the seller also had himself been one of 400.000km without problems (great sales pitch). After the test drive, we were excited because he rode very well, and looked especially inside still neat. With an annual MOT purchase closed and we could take him right away, and now the ZX the great challenge began for me would survive the ride from Horn to Bussum.

And yes that journey he has survived. After a month and about 1500km driven to have the ZX completely won my trust. Always start walking and driving without scary noises or stuttering engine. The consumption is good and is just below the manufacturer 7.5l / 100km, oil it consumes a bit more than 1 liter per 2000km.

The car has given me 13 months every day driving back and forth to my work and we drove across the country over the weekend and he never leave me. When we came back from the holidays of 2 or 3 weeks it was starting every time walk.

But there were some problems:

1: Dynamo piece a € 220, -
2: Fuel Hose a € 50, -
3: Hole poem exhaust a € 25, -

The consumption can be seen in the consumption monitor on this website.

For the new APK I foresaw some high cost, while I was looking for something more luxurious and air conditioning. Today I picked up my new car a 2001 Xsara Saloon 1.6i 16V, I hope there will be just as satisfied with it as the ZX.

Have years of fun had a Focus wagon 1.6tdci 109pk in 2006. Started with 93000km and have it exchanged by 250000km for 2.0 tdci 140hp from 2012.

Well, some lesser affairs: Focuss 3 is a few cm longer, has larger turning radius and of within what smaller.
What is better: he is very quiet, just like the engine is cold, you have the famous PSA rattle, but it is fast.
The ability I have not because that's comparing apples to oranges. He draws good by.

Then a strange thing that I now after the first 6000 km, but not to buildings. That first gear when pulling away from standstill: As I will stand up clutch and give slightly gas rises suddenly speed from 800 to 1400 and then again away while I still fall further gas kick. This makes it difficult to smoothly ride away. Of the 1 to 2, and further, this is not the case.
According to Ford garage this is normal. Well, not remain pleasant.

I also think the 2.0 anyway slurp more than me is really sweet. If I get a mop row 5.3 to 100, but a bit sportier is fast 6.3. Well it is a 2.0, but a much more aerodynamic than the model focus II.

New update I try to turn after 80000km.
Improvement since the necessary updates (80,000 km)At 80,000 km in turn made the necessary software updates. Unfortunately I do not know exactly what, but the flaw of not able to pull away smoothly disappeared happy.
Beurtje was about 400 Euri's.

Consumption remains in my opinion too high, but can also be little to tire type. Goodyear Vector 205/55/16 all seasons, already quite cupping, hence the trembling and sound.

This summer a bit and then drive onto Winter come on. Preferably Pirelly Sottozero II, and next summer Dunlop Bluresponse.

For the rest a great car!
100.000km turn still nice car (100,000 km)Well, much to report 100.000km turn had with just the brake pads replaced behind. Well, I replaced the hard gecupte Goodyear Dunlop 205/55/16 Blue Response.
Meanwhile, Continental TS850 winter tires 205/55/16. Makes no difference in consumption.
This consumption I find so little disappointing 5.63l 100km. Tried Excellium or v-power, but makes no difference, du now simply refuel the lukoils, tamoils and tangos.

Next car I consider automatic, but it will still be a kilometer or 100,000. Should this engine can handle with ease.
120000km turn still nice car (120,000 km)Had indicated that the last 5000 km he seems every 100km to regenerate, but that would have / could not with a maintenance-free coated diesel particulate filter. Yet I notice (even though I drive like a mop), the engine consumes more when I stop (normally 0.5 l / h, only 1.3 l / h) and I hear the blowing fan in the engine . Very weird.

120000km In turn, they have found nothing. Car is in tip-top order. EGR not seriously polluted (thanks to a73 or sometimes just over the border to clock briefly 200).

Find it cost the turn on the high side, without repairs € 470, -!

For the rest a lovely car. Summer slippers blue Dunlop 205/55/16 response back on. Am also very satisfied with the winter booties 205/55/16 Continental T850.

The lease on my previous car went off, so when should it start shopping again (unfortunately the last time, my employer has now opted for a standard fleet with the most common lease cars).

A station is not necessary for me and I am sensitive to the appearance of a car.

On the shortlist were the Mazda 3, BMW 1, Volvo V40 and Mercedes A-Class.
The Volvo soon dropped out because of limited space.
The BMW 1 I had it made me not feel good so it went between the Mazda 3 and the A-Class.
Finally opted for the A-Class because it felt like more cars (and was cheaper in the lease). High quality finishing and solid material (which is also a difference in price of course)

Selected performance:
Lease Edition 2015 (Ambition base, which includes light / sight package, LED lighting, air conditioning, cruise control, active park assist, Garmin navigation)
Color: Zuiderzee Blues
Machines

Why color, basically because you see him structurally in black and gray and the color it a more unusual and gives a sportier and more youthful appearance. When I had to choose, I chanced a trailer against multiple color A-classes including green and blue chosen by me.

Interior:
Neatly finished and certainly comfortable. I had to get used early to the location of various controls. Where in my previous car was wipers, is now operating the machine.
The whole is divided logically and efficiently so you can easy accessibility. For me it is a relief, the Alfa was beautiful inside but practically was not all.

Chairs are well adjusted and for me as 1.89 tall man, the seat also sufficient length adjustable. The chairs also give longer rides good support and comfort.

Rear view, where you can hear more about people. Indeed, it is really not very good, especially at the rear exit of a parking miss you a bit.

Outside:
car just looks neat from outside, access to the trunk is spacious enough but the model also again a little cramped (but for an easy and big trunk I could have chosen better station).

The first kilometers
I doubted about the machine, partly because I heard that he responded slowly. I must say that experience, I have not myself. I do think the car a smooth transition, note that if you quickly want to pull through if you're just came out that he sometimes just need the time (but with full throttle kicking it works better). The lack of a poker I can with all gauges good at.

The start-stop system, I find myself uncomfortable when I stand in front at the traffic light. Then it takes still some time before the car starts and accelerates.
In the evening / night you have adequate visibility through the LED lights.
The cruise control works well and can be operated per kilometer and 10 kilometers. However, I personally prefer to controls on the steering wheel instead of a lever behind the steering wheel (but that's personal).

What I find less is the system indicating that you drive too close to your predecessor. I have noticed several times that warning (beep) and also engages in a single time when there is no traffic in the area.

Here I me after my astra g coupe 1.8 the move has purchased a brand new Mitsubishi Lancer sports sedan 1.6 MIVEC 115 hp bj 2015

Here I me after my astra g coupe 1.8 the move has purchased a brand new Mitsubishi Lancer sports sedan 1.6 MIVEC 115 hp bj 2015. Have the car for about 4 months and is just over 7000 km.
The sports sedan just looks like a gem, I mean sometimes literally as I have chosen him in silky white pearl color. That jetfighter grill "facelift model 'looks much nicer than the previous model (the all-black grille with chrome surround). The angry-looking front and rear lamps fit there than very good at. Though the new Lancer a lot away from the evolution model (outside the hood, rear bumper and air intake in the wing), the car is very competetion tive on the traffic lights, which nevertheless what could be worse than the 1.6 version with 115 hp, people expect all 200hp quickly that there is beneath the hood. Have also chosen to look evo spoiler on the boot lid which I personally find the car so it look much nicer.

2 Equipment:

As I said, I opted for the silky white pearl color and a look evo spoiler, which is therefore the only thing I have chosen as an option.
Standard he already comes with trip computer, full electric and heated door mirrors, electric windows, radio with CD / MP3 and aux connection, central locking remote control,
rain and light senor, start and stop function tire pressure sensor, steering wheel controls, adjustable steering wheel, numerous airbags, aircon and fog lamps.

3 consumption:
the promised consumption of an average of 5.5L / 100km can I get impossible, then perhaps is my driving style as my foot which is on the heavier side.
I usually get an average of 7 liters, if it is really too bad 6.5.

4 interior space:
the back room enough for someone of 2 meters. 3 people get there easily.
400l of luggage space is more than enough, especially if you ever fold down the rear seats. (If you want more luggage then go for the hatchback, although I find that do less beautiful).
Has an easy and comfortable sitting position, especially with the armrest.

4 driving:

As the sports sedan looks like an almost evo, as I said, it can still a bit disappointing with the 1.6 engine. People will soon assume that you drive evoachtig monster with 200hp.
The lancer goes from 0-100 in just over 10 seconds and has a top speed of almost 200 km / h.
Below 3000 rpm he is somewhat disappointing, but if the lancer is driven properly hot and you pushed him to the 7000 rpm makes it all good again!
You can also perfect with the traffic and you go without any effort on cars, though sometimes you have ever turn down.
In sharp bends feels lancer some heavy, what caused you to take turns more slowly compared with my astra coupe you will notice the difference though.
Flight Hills are no problem and you can easy to 50km / h going on, though I do this not for the suspension to save some.
Comfortable ride he sure does. Ideal for people who need to drive long distances.

All in all I have not had any problems yet, and I'm definitely happy with the car,
Next review comes when I've been on first maintenance (20 000 km).
Lancer Part 2 (19,000 km)

After 1 year to ride the lancer and after undergoing back I can already tell what the first interview on the lancer.

Now I have to suffer the lancer already a year without spending cost (whatever I think normal for a new car).

Car drive still as good as when I bought it, better self.
The "not so fine cornering" I was in my previous review was talking about is as good as solved by placing an Eibach Pro kit under the lancer, so he just dropped 3cm and cornering much better take plus I almost nothing of comfort loss driving behavior. I think in my opinion that should be standard as a sport suspension with the lancer.

Consumption I was not given an average 5,5L will take according Also me to the fact that Mitsubishi incorrect usage data into customers.
Economical driving gives me a minimum of 6.5 l per 100 km, which can still unacceptable for me ..

Further note to nothing.
Is a beautiful car I get a lot of good responses.
In addition, I hope there is still a long ride with.

After some searching and testing several cars of various brands we chose an A3 sportback

I've just picked up my first car at the dealership. After some searching and testing several cars of various brands we chose an A3 sportback. He's in September 2011 and has just 120.000km on the clock. Besides some small (parking) scratches and two dents it is damage.

A few weeks ago we made a test drive and the car felt good immediately. No rattling, creaking or other beeps. The engine, brakes and steering all felt tight. Really like new and I felt at home straight away. This was not the case with the other cars which we drove, which we do every time gave a feeling that it could be something seriously wrong. In addition, the maintenance history was right on time done by an Audi dealer, he was on Michelin winter tires and the inside still looks good and beautiful. Sign for me that the previous owner has properly dealt with and there has been cut off.

During the first drive home still caused me a few things. So wanted to start / stop system does not catch on in the beginning, while it worked flawlessly during the test drive. It is a warmer day so the engine temperature can not be this rush. I do not know all the parameters are viewing this system but perhaps the charge of the battery is not so good. After 15km, the system began to work at once. The other point that I noticed that the suspension is quite stiff. This struck me at the test drive less even though I still had taken some bad roads during the ride. I assume this habituation will be. My A3 Ambition performance and may thus be supplied with the sports suspension that standard belongs. Whether that is the case with this A3, or the previous owner (free of charge) has chosen the ordinary frame, I do not know and I have no idea how I got to find out.

The following items on the program are installing new summer tires. I opted for Michelin's on the advice of the local tire dealer (Michelin Primacy 3 225 / 45R17 94V). They are in order and I'm wondering how to give birth. In addition, I made an appointment with the local Audi dealer for service that is needed.
New Tires - Audi A3 Sportback (120 245 km)

Today let impose the new summer tires. The winter before were already quite worn but with the rear tires I could probably still two winters. It is one of the rear tires a bit weird worn. On the inside of the tread, the profile is a bit bumpy. It is difficult to describe but the rubber, which in between two grooves, on the tape is is always to and to further and far less worn. According to the tire specialist may be caused by the shock absorber. I have no idea exactly how this may have had its effect and is itself indispensable to an improperly balanced wheel.

For summer tires I now have the Michelin Primacy 3 225 / 45R17 94V, this on the advice of the local tire specialist. Everything is rebalanced again. My first impression is good. They are quiet and comfort is as far as I can judge actually remained the same now. I have not ridden in extreme circumstances or situations, but it seems to be a good band.

Furthermore, we still do not so much drive. The start / stop system sometimes works, sometimes not so that's what I do not know yet. We have already made a trip to Ikea and we must say that the car is quite practical. The space in the least disappointing. Both the trunk and the back seat is actually reasonably well to call for yet a compact car.
Next week, the Audi dealership for a turn.
120.000km Maintenance interval - Audi A3 Sportback (120 305 km)

Yesterday, the 120.000km maintenance had at Audi. Audi offered me a maintenance program of € 15, - per month for two years or 40.000km to where all the standard maintenance is included (oil, filters such as oil, fuel, air and pollen, spark plugs (not required for a diesel naturally ), workshop fees, etc .. this therefore amounts to € 360, -. in two years in comparison, the things that must be done by default in this mode kilometer walk quickly up to € 400, - including oil changes and filters replaced. the offered maintenance program is so in my case always cheaper. I also have to replace the brake fluid in September (5 years old), which is then immediately included.

I have broached the start / stop system problem and it may be the battery but there are apparently many other possible causes. in addition, I talked about the weird worn rear tire. the Audi dealer had here no clear answer but said Hankook tires might fit better with the chassis and damping of my car. I have no experience with Hankook, but I might consider to move if I am in the market for a new set.

At the Audi dealership was my car right on the bridge and I had the chance to get away to look under together with the employee. I could not, so I was quite curious. Everything looked nice and neat so I was happy. All in all, you can never have 100% sure at a used car.

Also in the € 15 per month package includes a free rental car at the time of maintenance. I was given a nice A1. Ride pretty good I must say, very fast and challenging. Quite a bit smaller of course but still feels maturing.

Halfway through the day I got a call on what's 'wrong' in my car. It was all in all still so bad:
Wiper blades front and rear (I already knew).
Clogged sprinkler system behind.
Tire repair kit had expired so there was a new one in.
Crankcase ventilation hose leaked so they had to be replaced.
The latter was a new tube could be ordered and my car so unfortunately the same evening but not until the next morning to fetch at 09:00. The loan car, which normally is only given for one day, I just could not keep.

The next morning my car was ready, free washed and cleaned inside and out. Total costs were € 169.61 including VAT.

A new battery was apparently not necessary and on the drive home did it start / stop system immediately and properly. Perhaps it was just resetting the software or the crankcase ventilation hose that previously threw spanner in the works.
First Long Rides - Audi A3 Sportback (121 691 km)

Finally we have some longer distances by car can drive. Twice 650km, mostly over the highway and a few shorter pieces to 80/100 km / h roads.

I must say that the car also suits very well for longer journeys. We had quite bring some baggage, but two suitcases and some loose stuff in the trunk is not a problem. For us as a couple, this car is spacious enough, perhaps for a family with children will soon be too small. The start / stop system continued to operate smoothly so far, so I'm happy with that. Furthermore, it is fairly quiet in the car, even at higher speeds. We have lots of around 145 km / h ride on the cruise control and that was doable. I've just extended it to 208 km / h on the clock, but you do need a long breath for. After the 190 km / h the stretch there is a little off. Nevertheless, he will be 210 km / h he certainly should be able to get by the book as you have been free job. The car feels in any case still safe at those speeds. In Germany it is not a problem to get along with traffic. As I said earlier, the attenuation bit on the stiff side, but on the highway gives it a very solid and secure feeling. The seats provide plenty of support for a comfortable ride over 6 hours. Actually, the only thing I miss in my car is a rain sensor.

My car is equipped with a navigation system Zenec. It is very nicely built and looks as if it is an original factory option. It is what slow to start but once it does, it is a very rich and smooth system. The screen is large and works with touch screen operation which I think is very ergonomic. What is also very fine, is that it is connected to the screen between my speedometer and tachometer. This auction and gauges until the exit indicated, leaving me less often have to turn to the navigation system and watch.

I have so far refueled only once and can quite easily drive 1050km on one tank (55l). I have not yet tracked accurately and precisely but 1:18 am I can quite easily pick up with a combination of city and highway mileage.

After nearly six years driven around in an Opel Zafira 1.7 CDTI 110HP it was time for something else

After nearly six years driven around in an Opel Zafira 1.7 CDTI 110HP it was time for something else. The Opel was a very good car, it always did and still fairly smoothly. However, he sometimes stuttered a bit, but there was live with. Because we have four boys under 10 we were anyway looking for a 7 seater. Then you have right away a lot less choice. Because we have another car for daily use was expected that the annual mileage would be limited, so we wanted to go for a petrol.

Then you can go look at cars. But then you notice that there are only very few cars offer more space than the Zafira. French cars that met our criteria are few. Renault Espace would fit, but I did not really seen standing down. Moreover, French cars not exactly my first choice (even though I only have positive experience with French leasing cars).

German the choice is not very big: Touran is just as big and Sharan .. Well .. with a 1.4 TSI for such a big car. Although, in the back I found very off putting space. I could myself (1.91) not once. That worked in the Zafira with some worms still. Anyway, here come only sit the kids, so I do not have happy too. Sharan so either.

Japanese then? Aventis Verso I was too old (plus often many kilometers, but I'm less afraid). The Previa is great but unfortunately some older.

The Mitsubishi Grandis I found also a practical car, but fuel consumption is according to a friend of mine who runs a counter. Moreover, I could not find a model which lived up to what I wanted. However, a beautiful 6-seater (leather, double roof, etc.), which has bought another friend of mine.
Then we have a Ford: Galaxy and S-Max. Galaxy has a lot more space, but it is a huge bus. The S-Max is also large, but still has something charming. In fact, I found the model always look pretty dynamic.

After searching we found the car for some time: a 1.6 Turbo Titanium gray / blue color. Dark windows behind him and stands on 18-inch Y-rims. I think it's a good appearance for a car of this size.

Anyway, since it's not, it comes to driving. And I must say that it is something that I 100% bad. Yes, it's a great car and it shows especially when parking. Turning radius is slightly larger and prefer to look for a place that is slightly larger than average. He is also wider than you think. But it comes from just very good. As for passenger denotes lovely in fine chairs. Lots of space perception. On the second row are individually adjustable three seats, which is also nice. Children sit without mugs in this row. But then the third row and remains favorite.
That third row is very accessible because you can easily get a whole flat seats of the second row. You also get easy.
What strikes me is that if you have big feet, you suffer the seats in the second row. These are individually adjustable and therefore concerns also chairs and no bank. At the Zafira you can slide your feet under the sofa in the back row, the seating is more difficult / impossible.
For the children is no objection.

The deflection of the last row is very easy. You do not fool around here with the second row as it should at Zafira. You have the car also so converted. That is practical.

Driving because I can brief about. Very well. Especially when you compare it with the Zafira. Especially sending him doing very fine. Lies like a dyke on the road. Car is good in the corners.
The engine weight of the car perfectly. The upshift indicator is very enthusiastic, below 2,000 rpm he wants all to the next gear, which can then also. Basically you switch quickly and that is comfort (noise) also benefited. If you want you can do by pulling it but it still feels unnatural. It is not a GTI, but does he have enough air.
In top gear the engine responds a bit sluggish on the gas, but given the character of the car no point for me.
Consumption of the car is about 1 in 12 to 12.5. More highway mileage has a positive effect on consumption. When traffic will be using around 1 to 8-9. May have to make the wider 18-inch tires, but given the size of the car a good value for me. I have a fairly normal driving (like me to Vmax). However, a significant deviation from the manufacturer.

I have the car now half a year and have only driven a few thousand kilometers and every time I see that it runs smoothly. The only thing as light nuisance is having some buzzing, as if the CD player is running hard. Especially in urban traffic more audible.

The media (Navi / phone / radio) works fine. Only the sequence of phone is very different than on my iPhone, then you sometimes look for a moment. If I have to complain about something, then it might be that the steps of the volume of the radio are quite large.

In short: a very fine car driving very tasty despite its size. The engine is fine match for the car. The car is comfortable to use and very complete. The car is of 12-2011 so as yet no turn / MOT. Children are like me, like in the car.

Due to increased commuting we were looking for a second car alongside the Saab 9-3 estate that serves as the primary family car

Due to increased commuting we were looking for a second car alongside the Saab 9-3 estate that serves as the primary family car. It would be a car that could really make some kilometers per year. The first thought was for a nice used Mini Cooper, a VW Polo or similar. But given the ZZP status of my wife, we decided to start the search for a 15 year or older car because of the tax advantage. We then decided to buy something 'fun' and it had to be a convertible. The advantage of this is that people are often more economical on a convertible and therefore reasonably look good for their age. It was a choice between an Audi TT, BMW Z3, Volvo C70 convertible and a Saab 9-3 convertible.

Our order was finally fallen on a black BMW Z3 1.8S from the end of 1999. The facelift model with air conditioning, heated seats, leather and most importantly, a hardtop. He has been well documented regular maintenance and looks, both inside and outside, neat. During the test drive, we were positively surprised by the handling and roadholding. This was reinforced when the cap went down, with the still fairly sporty sound of the four cylinder was convertible feeling fine for another.
With 120hp is no outgoing car, but enough to keep up with the traffic. The budget for both purchase price and daily fees let unfortunately purchasing a 6 cylinder not matter, so we have a bit of dreams speak.

The sporty character of the car comes into its own on country roads with curves, it feels great cornering and responds well to the gas. Driving on the highway is not really comfortable with the hardtop is it still there, but otherwise there is simply too much noise.

Unfortunately it is to notice that the car is 15 years old, so shaky here and there and what is there still something regularly broken (particularly electronics). In addition, it was quite a hassle to get the hardtop wind and waterproof.

We have traveled around in the car 20.000km and it was certainly nice to be able to open up a big part of it. In connection with the second small we decided to sell the car in exchange for a second family car. All in all, the convertible drive us really liked it was only a 15 year old car in our case, also because of the permanent deployment in commuter traffic, not suitable. Perhaps in the future with a fresher, less spartan copy. Below the balance sheet.

After Chevrolet announced to leave the Netherlands, I went looking for something else.
In a car week sometime in September 2014, I read a piece about the Renault kwid. Before that I was excited about the TwinRun Concept and the Twinz concept. These two prototypes I did look foolish cool and when I found out that the Twingo was for sale, I started looking at the dealership.

After an extensive test drive, I was much more excited about the Twingo. The model runs good and confort surprised me. However, I would never baby blue color of the interior because I'm there already bothered by the test drive.

Experiences:
To date, the experience with the Twingo well. The car is comfortable and the turning radius is great.
The space in the Twingo is still quite spacious despite its rear engine. The rear parts foldable and thus more importantly, you get the same floor. The front passenger seat can also be folded forward in its entirety giving you that same floor can still pass through a piece. Thus, transporting for example, a tailgate of a Fiat Seicento pretty easy to do. However, I must mention that there access to the luggage compartment is quite tight.
With a consumption of 1:19 I find the Twingo quite economical. I mainly ride motorway journeys and on the motorway, the Twingo comfortably.
An additional advantage of the rear engine is that the passenger behind you can easily understand. In addition, the three-cylinder less vibration when the back is placed.

The Twingo is sensitive to side winds. With stormy winds, the Twingo may oscillate properly. With a speed of up to + - 100 km / h, the Twingo even in stormy winds still good at keeping a straight line.

The Twingo is packed with options. There is a tachometer that can be read on your phone. (see photo) The package Sound is a must. Thus you get a really nice sound when you play your music. (The music will come from the USB as a CD player, the Twingo is not), the Twingo has cruise which was a requirement for me to purchase. This is fairly easy to use.
The hill assistant is a fine option. I was previously on the Aveo and do not want to miss.
The climate control works well unwise and does what he has to do. In the summer he slightly warmer than in winter because the air conditioning cools it very well.

Tire Pressure Sensors:
If there is an option that is meaningless then it is this one. Finally, I myself see and experience if my tires are still on the correct voltage. Eventually you check the tire pressure several times in the year.
I drive both summer and winter tires and I think it is nonsense to also buy the sensors there specifically for Winterset. They are, moreover, still quite expensive.
The disadvantage is that on your dashboard 2 lights come on. (see photo)

So far I have had no alarming defects. The edge at the A-pillar and front door began to show paint damage. Warranty is neatly solved. The striping right showed a bulge and ripped later and this is nicely updated.

In winter really come a few hiccups forward.
The doors freeze easily fixed. This is due to the rubber that runs over the style. And in rainy weather would sometimes drip some water in the trunk when opening the tailgate.

Conclusion:
The Twingo is a fine car I drive to date with pleasure.
21 054 km

The kilometers that have been made so far satisfactorily.
Also on the longer distance is to keep out fine. Regularly drive there also colleagues with me and that may well find their place in the Twingo. The space in the rear is neat.
The radio had once cure. In addition, the screen remained without orange text. Then the radio went volume was 18 and was the sound just right audible in the Twingo. Contact off and the door opened and shut. Engine started and problem solved. It is also not seen.
Consumption is an average of 1: 18/19 very neat.
There is not really anything to report special.

Made short test ride, it became clear that I would compromise on space and equipment

It concerns the so-called. "Admired 'performance, which is not to select the database (for Attraction PLB comes closest), but is / was a promotion on the basis of Attraction. You will then include the S Line Exterior package, the Connectivity package and the roof arch and roof in high gloss black. The 17 "alloy wheels complete the picture and in my view an extremely funky, beautiful appearance.

Further, the" Admired best a strange, what bald edition because things like heated mirrors (really!), A center armrest and storage compartments (Storage package ) are you looking for in vain .. I have therefore sought a slightly more complete version (the version is / was not orderable for the facelift) so you have to make do with what there is, which is otherwise financially quite attractive (stock reduction). I found one with rain / light sensor, automatic climate control, center armrest, aluminum interior package and parking sensors. only the heated door mirrors, LED lighting package and storage package I would also like to have, but that combination simply was not (anymore). Because of the glasses relative deep down in the body, you miss the heater actually not so.

Made short test ride, it became clear that I would compromise on space and equipment, but further compare these mini Audi NOTHING with the Frenchman. Everything exudes quality: the finish, controlling, switching (incredibly light and accurate) .. The handling, especially on the highway, really reminiscent of a bigger car. This trolley is approaching perfection! Ok, the 1.2 TFSI is inadequate when you want to get along, but only noticeable when you flush or overtaking on the highway, because the enormous flexibility at low revs, the perfect 'toerenval' with upshifting and sporty sound this block you know initially nice to be fooled! But to be honest: the car and ask for more this chassis.

In tests I read often praise for quality and handling, but immediately followed by a 'punishment' because of the price. Yes, it is relatively expensive. However I could, because inventory and marking of already, create a very competitive deal and I ride for barely more than a full Clio 208 or an Audi. It also strikes me that in fact everyone likes a nice car, even on the road I feel sympathetic reactions. The combination of S-Line, 17 "two-tone alloy and silver gray / black lacquer makes it a bit more noticeable than a black 3 door course ..

Critically I'm talking about the 'base' MMI system; it is in this version and you get it thus for little, but I think it is a premium brand unworthy. the graphics are outdated, the operation cumbersome and through the steering wheel to operate the barely. the sleek, multifunction leather sports steering wheel features not always logical buttons, so you mainly operate the screen between the counters. For eg. Volvo this is much more thoughtful imo. Anyway, you can browse, stream Bluetooth music and connect your iPhone / iPod, so that's fine. telephoning is also ok. Pre I find the altimeter, this is a nice gimmick.
at the bottom of the steering column is the cruise control, mine then get a 10 quick to turn, accelerates to and inhibits itself on slopes, and is just as robust as the car itself.

Aft adults have more than about 1.70m nothing to look for, but you know that if you buy this car. The seat is tilted too much and the legroom is very limited. The trunk, however, is excellent, easily accessible and adjustable bottom a pleasant find. The LED taillights are incredibly beautiful, and typical of the perfect finishing example also LED license plate illumination. Detail, but chic!

The chairs (I would have preferred Ambition sports seats, but that is not possible Admired) are fine, well adjusted and offer sufficient support. The headrests are also adequate for taller people, that you see in other men in this segment. The center armrest is -also displayed enormous sound but had just liked forward, you can support just is not good, but this is probably a matter of taste. The Concert "radio strikes me somewhat disappointing, particularly in terms of bass reproduction. Could I order a new one, I would definitely check the Audi Soundsystem. Anyhow, that option list both desirable and also an idiot; For € 40 you can buy "Hill Hold Assist. Do that by default I think then ..

All in all I am very satisfied Audi driver, I enjoy every day of this brilliant trolley! Reportedly, the residual value also very good, but that remains to be seen. Have four-year warranty, so for now I drive by there tasty.
Still very satisfied, but .. (18,500 km)

Meanwhile, a year later, and also drove the necessary long distances by car. Then falls 1.2 through the basket on the back burner, the block (you) still under sized. Not very, in UK it is usually more than sufficient and Admired 1.4 TFSI was not (more) available. The torque at the bottom and the outstanding bakverhoudingen hide much. A sixth resistance was fine, but less necessary than in the previous one, high-revving, Peugeot VTi. A few words: the control which is too distant. I'm curious how that version with the facelift, as the controller is adjusted. Now you feel a little what you're doing. For example, a MINI gives more feedback. I also find it very hard damping (suspension is in perfect balance), possible that enhanced by the relatively flat 17 "V-spoke wheels with Continental Fewer elementary:. Armrest Which squeaks, sitting in the wrong place and sometimes hinders switching. Catch myself that I more often blow it up .. Another detail is the interior, which is too small and awkwardly shaped. Fortunately it's fine all-round visibility, which compensates for the SB. more annoying is the optional automatic air conditioning. this blows too long, too hard, and has an inimitable character. the Peugeot was it enjoyable.

I would drive there to leave, said things? no, absolutely not ..! I am still convinced that there is no better truck in this segment ..! Find a promotion or young used one and you experience incredible pleasure from this (still somewhat pricey) mini Audi.

After 3.5 years to have sent in a Peugeot 508SW with semi-automatic if I find out another car

After 3.5 years to have sent in a Peugeot 508SW with semi-automatic if I find out another car. For me at least clear that the machine had to be. On my short list therefore stood Golf variant, the Octavia station and the A3 sportback. A3 I find a bit too small. The Gulf and the Octavia are actually still a little gray mice. Then suddenly came the Renault Kadjar screen, a vending machine and a reasonable aggregation rate. After watching the car in the showroom, I was the Kadjar to be directly sold!
End December delivered the car, so I take advantage of even 20% addition instead of 21%.

Engine / transmission
, the 1500 diesel is a great motor with enough power and torque. The Kadjar pulls smoothly and shut like a gem. Sure the gearbox is not inferior to the DSG gearbox from Volkswagen. Now I had read on forums about "fits and starts" with a cold engine since the dCi 110 EDC does not bother! After 4000 km, the average fuel consumption 5.3 l / 100 km, I make no sport to drive as economically as possible .... The engine is remarkably quiet while driving.

Driving
Besides the fact that the car is pretty rap place is definitely a comfortable car with excellent handling characteristics. What I also like very nice experience is the high seat of an SUV. The view is better and get in and out was pleasant. The Kadjar has many "tools" while driving. By default, the Kadjar Lane Departure Warning, which now I have turned so similar, really annoying. When you cross the white line runs you get a hum of the loud speakers. I include the Easy Park Assist Package taken include rearview camera and Blind Spot Warning (both a huge plus). Even the automatic parallel parking, I use regularly. So I'm sure I have the 19 "wheels do not damage when parking.

Interior
The interior exudes luxury. I find Bose upholstery very beautiful. The dashboard is to set your own taste in four different styles and in different colors. You can create six profiles. For example if you have set up your profile syncs the Rlink2 system with your phone, email, etc., and is set to the system with your chosen driving tools and settings for the TomTom navigation system.
What I miss in the Kadjar that illumination of the controls in the door. Would you let someone get in and you want to unlock the doors you have to turn on the interior lights now to find the release. The glovebox is not illuminated. The place for the opening of the fuel valve and for opening of the bonnet is unfortunate. Side by side and unlit.

After our 307 break during the holiday break having driven quickly look for another car. Our requirements were: size bigger, above average safe and more luxurious implemented. Our eyes had fallen on these cars from 2011: TOYOYA Avensis Wagon 2.0CVT 152PK (too small, low boot), Peugeot 508 SW THP 156 horsepower, Mazda 6 wagon 2.0aut 155PK (not tested), Volvo V60 T3 150 HP Kinetic ( small interior). We wanted a machine, but it was not decisive, and at least 150 hp motor. Finally chose the 508SW THP Allure for its implementation and the low mileage. The car is delivered with a three year warranty and 4 new from Auto Palace Ommen (and fresh) Michelin Primacy HP tires.

The appearance of the car:

We find it a very luxurious look. He looks big, very big, comfortable and powerful. This is probably due to the parelmoerlak Blanc Nacre. Aluminum window frames around 17 inches allure wheels with 215-55 / 17 tires, chrome edges around the door handles, stainless steel protective strip on the rear bumper, silver roof rails and large panoramic roof that along with the privacy glass rear creates contrast with the white paint. Keyless entry is also a nice experience. Furthermore, the vehicle is equipped with a detachable towbar (max. 1800 kg).

The interior of the car:

Inside you find yourself in a cockpit. Many buttons, but organized for the operation. No key, but a start-stop button. No handbrake, but a p button. Headup display I personally find it useful, but not indispensable. It is also clear weather the set speed of the cruise control. Ideal for us separate climate control, since my wife has always cold and I often hot. Rear outlets are also available. The sound system is one of a higher level, good radio reception, very spacious sound with a full sound. Many people asked me whether there is a subwoofer in the car. Even at high sound levels remain sound okay. Bluetooth connectivity, MP3 player with shuffle play (unfortunately falls against the operation thereof. Need for an artist beginning with the letter V or Z, then you have to scroll a long way. He can read up to 999 MP3 files.) The built navigation does its job well, unfortunately this is not up to date, this is probably because of the price. Well, we still have a TomTom with lifetime updates. The chairs are really with half leather again fantastic (as in 307). The legroom and headroom are ample mention. My wife is 187 cm and may well be behind himself. Panorama roof for us is a special experience. With us, the roof is often "open", but with a little sun it is better to shut the apron. The light from the top will be too bright. Furthermore, all nicely finished, no rattles, no creaks (the 307 it had quite a bit), neat stitching and fine materials. The trunk is deep, beautiful square and high enough for our labrador (or lower than 307, a refrigerator or a washing machine will not longer). However, we have inserted a rubber mat for the dog hair.

Driving in the car:

The car is equipped with a turbo engine 156PK. Thus he comes in the place, 9 seconds to 100 I find downright easy for a car of this class. This is partly because you have to switch once, only at 105 you have to at the 3. Although he is fast, the 508 does not show off to race, while it does not seem to go fast. Keep Aspen and asr you on track. You can be shy hard the curve by, but relaxed cruising with the car more pleasant. From 1500 rpm, you notice that the torque of 240 Nm is available in abundance and with it you can keep it nice and low speed. In the 6 is the pep out and downshift is required to be away smoothly. The switch itself is tight and effective, you can not "stir" with a Peugeot bin. Driving straight ahead on the back burner he does well, this is a higher segment Audi A6 (2012) or a BMW X1 (2014) to be different, they are quite sensitive to wind. Speeds above 130, we have not driven. Parking would be without the sensors front and rear daunting, you can totally not estimate how long the car. The suspension is comfortable, but the damping is on the smooth side (he looks back an extra time to sway after a steep threshold compared to 307). During fast acceleration allow the engine to hear a heavy sporty growl (1.6 you ???), but at a constant speed the car is as quiet as a hybrid. Little wind noise, nice band sound and the radio does not have the highway harder. The car is like a baby on the way, you really feel like in a big sled.

66,000 km:

The car drives perfect and very comfortable, ridden already twice holidays. Consumption during the holidays 1: 11.7 km, speed on the autobahn between 120 and 160. At 160, there is actually still no speed experience, which we find very pleasing. What strikes us is that we very slowly through the curve may like the dog in the back sitting or lying down. The car seems to have a "heavy" back making our labrador rollovers and falls over in a bend taken at normal speed. Also topped more than a liter of oil that did the 307 never. When I read some forums, I understand that many THP's 1 liter of oil per 5000 km consumption by the turbo.

The problems with the car:

58,800 km 2 months for delivery this THP engine also has a new timing chain according to the recall of Peugeot. The car seems well polished. According to us, and meanwhile Auto Palace Ommen had little "scourer scratch" can be polished out. For this, the car will return in September to Auto Palace Zwolle.
59,300 km: Further, the car was returned for warranty repairs: Left and right for keyless replacement handles. Replacing outside temperature indicator. Flaking paint update on the rear spoiler. One key new battery and reprogrammed. Engine software updated, car bucks no longer in the 2nd below 1500 rpm.
59,300 km: The first injury is a fact: a 3-year-old girl in an oversized go-kart grazed the back door. Resulting in deep scratches and a dent. For this, the car goes to Care Zwolle.
59.600 km: rear door dents and repainted. Unfortunately for pickup appeared much color difference to sit in. After spraying again the color difference is nil. I think I still see it, but others do not see it.
59.800 km: second injury, biker links on the front bumper, black stripes and a scratch. What a bad luck.
60,200 km: happy were glossed over the scratch and stripes. This brushing we still recieve the delivery. He is now really like new.
60,400 km: handle both left and right do not work properly. All three replaced hope this was the last interference with the keyless system.
62,000 km: Replace wipers, now we see everything with rain.
66,000 km: no problems had more car.
